Giant Steps for Freedom Waters Foundation

FWF is investing in its future by hiring a part time employee and with the purchase of two computers for our home office.  This is major progress for FWF, since for 5 1/2 years, it has been operating with one part time paid employee with one laptap computer.  These changes will lend FWF much more of a foundation and stability for its future and for all we serve!

FWF welcomes Hallie Hau to her position as a team member to FWF! Hallie comes to us from Wisconsin. She has a BA in Education and loves working with children and people in general. She is excited about the possibilities with FWF and is looking forward to assisting with the development of additional, enriching programs for all we serve! Welcome, Hallie from all of us!'

Weller Days

Yacht owners share their love and respect for the water by donating their: time, energy, knowledge and the use of their vessels for boat outings for children and adults with cancer, other life threatening illnesses, disabilities, and other special needs.  Weller Days named in honor of John Weller, Co-Founder, Yacht Broker, 5 time cancer survivor!

FWF serves a number of referrals from: local Hospitals, Social Service Agencies and other organizations/partnerships in the Southwest and Southeast areas of Florida, and word of mouth!

FWF Weller Day – Monday, January 16, 2012 aboard M/Y Rachael Ann, Andrew Cilla, owner donated his time and vessel for this outing for a young man who has spent many days in and out of the hospital. This day was his first time on a boat and he was at the helm as soon as they left the dock!
