Jeffrey H Gage “Jeff”
Jeff has been an avid sailor since he was 11 years old and very active in the sailing community in CT and now in SWFL. Jeff has competed in racing one design vessels and PHRF, holding various leadership positions with the Milford Yacht Club, Naples Sailing and Yacht Club and the Gulf Coast Sailing Club. He recently obtained his USGC Masters Credential. Jeff attended Union College in Schenectady NY where he studied Electrical Engineering and Business graduating in 1977. He worked in the robotics industry after graduating and then ventured into commercial real estate where he spent the last 40 years closing transactions valued at more than $3 billion, involving over 9 million sq. ft. In addition to working with Freedom Waters Foundation, Jeff ran the Bennet Cancer Walk Run Ride event for 5 years, elevating the fundraising to over $1 million. He has also organized fundraising events for ShatterProof, repelling from the top of Landmark Square in Stamford CT, a 22 story office building. Other charitable efforts include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habit for Humanity and Boy Scouts of America.
