MODS 3rd Annual Science Festival in Fort Lauderdale

“Freedom Waters Foundation has joined the 3^rd Annual Science festival Hosted by Museum of Discovery and Science.

Our booth complemented connecting the community to the health and wellness benefits of our natural environment by partnering with the Water Taxi to show the events patrons the wonder and beauty of the nearby urban marine environment of Fort Lauderdale’s New River. Freedom Waters Foundation’s team of volunteers educated the community on our ability to provide therapeutic on the water experiences for children and adults with disabilities, veterans, at-risk youth, and people with life threatening illnesses while simultaneously providing 238 on-the-water experiences that afternoon. Freedom Waters Foundation welcomes the experience every year, and looks like next year we will need a bigger boat!”.
