John Weller

A highly successful yacht broker, John has been awarded the Richard Bertram Yachts top broker award 26 times. His strong experience, excellent communication skills and focus on listening to what his clients are looking for in a yacht have contributed to his success. One of the strongest accomplishments include the construction of the 240′ (73m) Feadship “Predator”, launched in 2008. He also worked on a line of Royal Denship/Chaperone boats, ranging from 150′ to 500′ in length designed to escort owners’ yachts and carry all their equipment and toys. Passionate for the sea and yachting, John enjoys sharing the boating experience with the children of his community.

He is heavily involved in the organization of the Annual Big Brothers/Big Sisters Fishing Tournament that he started over 40 years ago, in Ft. Lauderdale. Freedom Waters Foundation’s “Well-er” Days Boat Outings are named after John, who has now, survived cancer six times.

John currently lives in Ft. Lauderdale and continues to be active in the yachting community.
