After a few years working at a highly respected law firm, Jeff founded the law firm now known as Cox & Company Maritime and Aviation Law. Cox & Company, for over a decade, has distinguished itself from other firms by focusing solely on maritime and aviation law, as it pertains to yacht and private airplane transactions and ownership. We have a global network of yachting and aviation industry contacts, developed over nearly 30 years. This network allows the firm to provide worldwide assistance in all legal matters pertaining to the ownership of yachts and airplanes. A large portion of the practice involves yacht and airplane purchases and sales, new yacht construction, yacht refits, offshore closings, documentation and registration, foreign flagging, ship mortgages, yacht chartering and crew employment.

Jeff joined the Freedom Waters Foundation Board for the second time in 2021.
