Welcome Aboard – New Staff – Meet new family members of a Dream Team – May 4th, 2017
Freedom Waters Foundation is delighted to welcome our new staff to the FWF family. It’s been a long time coming to have Freedom Waters Foundation Program Coordinators for southeast Florida once again — and we now have two incredible women to help us further our mission. So, please welcome Lori Griffith and Ann Klein.
Also in the Freedom Waters Foundation’s main office, Bryan Gantwarg has joined us as the new Administrative Assistant.
Freedom Waters Foundation has the best team an organization could dream of to make magic and memories happen for others!
It is because of all of you that Freedom Waters Foundation has grown and matured through its eleven years of service to a point hat we can grow our team to serve more of all over South Florida!
Welcome aboard Lori, Ann and Bryan! Meet them below:
Lori Griffith
Program Coordinator – Palm Beach County
Lori has a photography business called Chasin a Dream Photography. She is passionate about a few things: her son, making a difference in this world, photography, travel, and helping sick and disabled kids.
Lori comes to FWF with a multitude of talents and professional experience, having most recently been managing the largest neonatal physician group in Palm Beach and Martin County. She is also a published writer and photographer for the Jupiter Courier Newsweekly, other local, national and international magazines, including USA Today.
Lori is well known as a face of Freedom Waters Foundation in the Palm Beach County and looks forward to continuing to work with the community to serve children with special needs, their families and our Veterans.
Please feel free to call or email Lori at (561) 315-7005 or lgriffith@freedomwatersfoundation.org.
Ann Klein
Program Coordinator – Broward County
The youngest of 18 children, Ann grew up in North Dakota where she spent her summers camping, boating and fishing on Lake Sakakawea.
In 1982 she moved to South Florida where she immediately got involved in the boating community. She has owned and operated a large cruising sailboat brokerage, worked for a boat builder out of Denmark and spent 13 years as a manager at Ardell Yacht and Ship Brokers.
Ann recently joined Freedom Water Foundation as the Broward County Program Coordinator and is very much looking forward to being a part of the team and also getting back out on the water to help improve the lives of Veterans and individuals with Special needs.
Please feel free to call or email Ann at 954-829-0079 or aklein@freedomwatersfoundation.org.
Bryan Gantwarg
Administrative Assistant, Naples
Bryan, currently (2017) is a Communications major with a focus on Public Relations at FGCU. Through one of his classes, he was required to team up with a non profit and his group chose Freedom Waters Foundation to complete their project. Bryan felt a strong connection with the mission and family like atmosphere and remained on well after his class requirements were met.
Bryan began helping around the office, out on boat trips and with community outreach events, willing to do anything to help. And, most recently, he produced the paddle raise video for the FWF 2017 Kind Mariners Ball, from scratch and it was very well received.
Bryan truly enjoys being part of the Freedom Waters Foundation family and using his skills and talents for the greater good, so you may find him in the office; out in the community or out on a boat outing, or possibly behind a camera doing an interview.
Please feel free to email Bryan at bgantwarg@freedomwatersfoundation.org
