Volunteer Opportunities

It's Time to Get Involved

Freedom Waters Foundation could not deliver healing, empowerment, connection, and freedom on the water without our caring volunteers — from boat captains to onboard lead volunteers to office helpers. There are so many ways to join us, whether you have an hour, a boat, or a skill to share.

Please read about our Programs, find an opportunity below that interests you and fill out our Volunteer Application to get started. We will let you know when our next Volunteer Orientation will take place.

Boat Outings

Boat Owners

Share your love and enjoyment of being out on the water by donating your time and the use of your vessel to take participants on the water. You can share this experience as often as you would like, from once a week to once a year. We welcome all boat owners – large, small and commercial. To get involved, please fill out the Boat Owner Registration Form.

Boat / Lead Crew

Onboard Freedom Waters Foundation volunteer who acts as primary host or co-host to greet and orient guests to the boat and program. Ensure safety first by supervising activities onboard, engaging lovingly with guests. And, also capture the outing by taking photos and videos for lasting memories of the trip.
