Dennis graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. Chemistry. He retired as V.P. Operations/Director of Winemaking from Oliver Winery in Bloomington Indiana, after 26 years of managing wine operations during an amazing growth period.

While at the winery, Dennis focused on product development, product quality, and change management to help grow the winery to one of the top 30 largest wineries in the country.

Dennis has always been drawn to the water, starting as a young child, boating and camping every weekend of the summer.  After college Dennis quickly bought his first boat and continues to value the peace and freedom the water has to offer with his friend and family.

Since 2024, he had the pleasure of volunteering as a boat captain on his home lake in Bloomington, Indiana (Lake Monroe).   He quickly fell in love with the concept of sharing the peace of the water with an amazing community of new friends and families.  Dennis is beyond excited to utilize his talents, time, and heart to serve Freedom Waters Foundation and will also continue to volunteer as a boat captain
